Julie O’Connor is proud to serve the parents and families of St. Paul’s School in her role of associate director of family philanthropy. Julie grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire, and attended college at the University of New Hampshire. She began her career in nonprofit fundraising in Boston, with roles at Action for Boston Community Development and Boston Children’s Hospital. She later spent almost a decade in Los Angeles pursuing her passion for film and television and continuing her engagement with nonprofit fundraising as a stewardship ambassador with the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Foundation.
Returning to New England, Julie worked as a development officer at Massachusetts General Hospital and then found her second calling as fundraiser in education, serving as assistant vice president of annual giving at Saint Anselm College and as associate director of family giving and engagement at Dartmouth College. Julie’s travels throughout the country allow her to share the meaningful impact that philanthropic contributions have on the student experience, and it is her belief that each deserving student should have access to a high-quality education to discover what speaks to them for the betterment of humanity.
