Each year students in the Chinese Society and Chinese language program organize a variety of events in celebration of the Lunar New Year. Most recently, students enjoyed dumplings, boba tea and other treats as they took in a talent show and cultural presentations. A special Lunar New Year chapel highlighted the SPS Orchestra and Sixth Form Chinese language students and featured traditional dragon and lion dances.
