Mrs. Vo arrived at SPS in the fall of 2016 as an Associate Director of Admissions before becoming a Humanities teacher the following year. Prior to SPS, Mrs. Vo taught English literature for eight years at Elizabeth Seton High School outside of Washington, D.C., where she was also co-chair of the English Department. Ms. Vo holds The Richard F. Davis Chair.
Mrs. Vo grew up in Cincinnati and has fond memories of visiting SPS to race on Turkey Pond with her junior rowing club. She earned a B.A. in English from Brown University, where she also won two NCAA Championship titles with the rowing team. After teaching for three years, she took a one-year sabbatical to earn an M.Sc. in English from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland before returning to the classroom.
Mrs. Vo is the co-coach of the girls’ crew team at SPS and lives on campus with her husband and three children.
