Squash, golf, jigsaw puzzles, watching ESPN, and board games
Gannon Leech earned a B.A. in mathematics and computer science with a minor in Italian studies from Bowdoin College in 2021, graduating cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. At Bowdoin, Mr. Leech played on the varsity squash team and served as team captain during his junior and senior years. He was a three-time member of the NESCAC All-Academic Team and a two-time College Squash Association Academic All-American. He also served as a teaching assistant within the Computer Science Department and volunteered as a math tutor at a local elementary school.
Mr. Leech came to St. Paul’s School in 2021 as a Mathematics Teaching Fellow, teaching SPS math classes while earning his master’s degree in education as part of the University of Pennsylvania Boarding School Teaching Residency Program. He earned his M.Ed from Penn in May 2023 and joined the faculty of the SPS Mathematics Department.
Mr. Leech lives on campus and serves as assistant coach for the boys and girls squash teams. His hobbies include squash, golf, jigsaw puzzles and hiking.
