October 18–19, 2024

We look forward to welcoming SPS families to the grounds for Family Weekend! The weekend provides a glimpse into your child’s daily life at SPS with activities such as classroom visits, meetings with their advisers as well as other special event offerings we have planned.

Check-in begins Friday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Barker Court at the Athletic and Fitness Center and continues Saturday from 7:30 to 11 a.m. in the Schoolhouse Reading Room.

Students may depart on Saturday, Oct. 19, after their last commitment and return to School by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22. All students who depart the grounds will be required to submit a leave request through REACH. Varsity athletes may have earlier practices and should check their schedule. Classes resume on Wednesday.

St. Paul’s School will offer bus transportation for Family Weekend returns ONLY. All buses will depart their respective locations on Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the 2024-25 bus schedule. Students must sign up for this bus service by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Enjoy dessert and coffee as you attend the first installment of our 2024-25 Parent Education Series as well as learn about the SPS Parents Association. This session will share results of the Independent School Health Check, a comprehensive survey instrument developed to evaluate students’ behavior and attitudes, including risk and protective factors. Presenters include Rector Kathy Giles, Vice Rector for School Life Theresa Ferns ’84 and Dean of Students Suzanne Ellinwood.

2:30–3:30 p.m.Onyx Affinity Group Family Gathering
Sheldon, Garden Level
Onyx at SPS is an affinity group for students who identify as Black, African American or of African heritage. This group is a safe space for students and adults to gather and be in community together. Please join us and meet the adult advisers to Onyx and learn more about this affinity group.
