Our giving levels honor the donors who are able, and choose, to make leadership gifts to St. Paul’s School. The levels are named for important aspects of St. Paul’s School history.
Recognition level is determined by the total amount received in one fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
In honor of the first Rector of St. Paul’s School, Henry Augustus Coit, and his wife, Mary. Donors at the Coit Fellows level are invited to an annual gathering to celebrate their generous leadership support and provide updates on how their investment benefits SPS students.
In honor of the leadership and service of each Rector since the School’s founding in 1856. Donors at the Rector’s Circle level are invited to an annual gathering to celebrate their generous leadership support and provide updates on how their investment benefits the School.
Recognizing a generous gift “for others.” Donors at the Pro Aliis level are invited to an annual gathering to celebrate their generous leadership support and provide updates on how their investment benefits the School.
In honor of the site where Dr. Shattuck founded this great school. Donors at the Millville level are invited to an annual gathering to celebrate their generous leadership support and provide updates on how their investment benefits the School.
The first giving club, established in 1976, recognizes the effect of loyalty and generosity on the quality of the St. Paul’s School experience.
Honoring Cricket Holiday, a tradition more than a century old, on which the Rector guides new students on a tour of the School’s woods and streams.

One-quarter of the endowment comes from bequests.
Assuming a spending rate from the endowment of 4.6%, it would take about $130 million in additional endowment dollars to have the same impact as $6 million in annual SPS Fund dollars.
The SPS Fund provides 12% of the School’s annual operating budget.
