The XIX Society invites you to a webinar discussing the effects of artificial intelligence on the engineering, entertainment and healthcare professions.
XIX Society Steering Committee member Taisha Edouard ’93, P’25,’27 will lead the conversation featuring these experts:

Talia Chopra ’11
is a senior machine learning engineer in the ML space solving research and engineering problems whose focus has turned from finance to biotechnology. She is passionate about applying her knowledge about model development and infrastructure engineering to niche domains that can uniquely benefit from machine learning techniques. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of California, Santa Cruz and a master’s degree in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Lucienne Papon ’94
oversees development and current scripted programming for ITV Studios America and is responsible for the continued growth of the studio’s extensive development slate across cable, broadcast and SVOD buyers. Prior to joining ITV in 2015, Papon was Head of Development and Production for Martin Campbell Productions where she worked across film and television development as an executive and producer. Lucienne is also a teacher for UCLA’s Department of Film, TV and Digital Media as well as a thesis advisor to the Producer’s Program where she received her MFA. A former Morehead Scholar and Rowing Captain at UNC, Lucienne is most happy when she’s cheering for the Tarheels in March Madness, traveling, working out, or chasing after her husband, two boys and two very fluffy dogs.
Cybil Gregory Roehrenbeck ’99
is the executive director and founder of the AI Healthcare Coalition, an advocacy organization founded in 2018 that works with policymakers to ensure patient access to safe, rigorously validated AI health services. Cybil is also a partner at the global law firm Hogan Lovells, where she leads the firm’s health government relations practice and counsels innovators specializing in AI, digital health and value-based care. She previously worked on Capitol Hill for two members of the U.S. House, leading efforts to require health insurer coverage for healthcare services provided in the home setting. Cybil is a former in-house lobbyist for the American Medical Association and currently holds an adjunct professor position teaching health law and policy at the American University Washington College of Law.
